Siden XP opdatering af Java til nyeste Java ver. 1.7.0 Update 71 (build 1.7.0_71-b14)
...opdatering til ver. 18.+ er IKKE kompatibel med XP !!!
..virker Java ikke længere i Opera browseren (Version 12.17 Build 1863 Platform Win32 System Windows XP).
Java versionen virker dog i de opdaterede versioner af såvel; IE8, Firefox, som i Chrome browserne ..på een og samme PC.
Hvad er årsagen? Kan jeg gøre noget ved det?
Jeg må skifte browser, hvis jeg f.eks. vil benytte Nem-Id til Digital Post el. Fagforeningen 3f.
Dette vil jeg gerne undgå. Nogen der har en forklaring/løsning?

Jeg bryder mig ikke om at køre 'ufærdige' software programmer, som ikke er gennemtestede for f.eks. sårbarheder.
Så jeg må vel bare væbne mig med tålmodighed. Præcis som med Win 10 
marken84 -> Jamen, jeg er glad for Opera 
Som sagt benytter jeg da bare en anden browser, hvis noget ikke virker i Opera.
Eyvind -> Jamen, Java 7 67 virkede da også med min version af Opera. Det var da jeg opgraderede til 7 71 den gik i udu. Lidt mærkeligt, når nu Java selv påstår at Opera for Windows IKKE bruger Java plug-in fra Adobe Java.
Her er 'årsagen' til mit browservalg for tiden:
Visse HTML5 tags og CSS3 egenskaber understøttes ikke ens af alle browsere, så vil man være på forkant med udviklingen er Opera faktisk et af de bedste browservalg. Om ikke andet så til test og kode.
