          | | | Help with Tele2's billing system Fra : Bob Bobsen

 | | Hello all,
I realize that this is a Danish news group and therefore this should
be in Danish but dammit I am so pissed off the only way to fully
express myself is in my 'modersprøg' English and not in my simplistic
 'Danglisk'.
I signed up for tele2 adsl in June (the 8th) and received two dates
(the 17 and 19 of July) when the conversion 'could' take place (I had
TDC adsl), they missed both dates and after waiting approx a month
more I personally went down to Tele2 office and hand deliver my
'cancel' letter. They stamped it and then the next day (the 26th) I
received not only another letter that contained user log ons but
another letter with two more possible installation dates! I called and
after waiting the usual 29 min was told all was 'ok' and that it was
just two departments not communication with each other.
Now the other day I received a bill for 500 Dkr for 'canceling' my
adsl. WTF, over. How can I be charged for something I never received?
If they missed the first two dates does that not cancel any or all
obligations on my part? I have been down to Tele2's main office twice
now but am told that I must 'contact' customer service, blah, blah. I
have already tried that, didn't do much good.
What should I do? Is there a direct contact to someone or what? Please
 help.
 Thanks in advance,
 Bobsen

Postings in English are welcome, as long as they are on topic, which
 your posting certainly is.

You placed an order, which means that Tele2 has had expenses serving
you so far. It's fairly common that undue cancellation are charged a
 fee.
This is propably just standard procedures.

Did Tele2 give you an expected time to deliver? Have you waited much
 longer than that?
You are correct that if Tele2 has not kept their promises with regards
to time to deliver, you're entitled to cancel the purchase without a
 fee.

 >What should I do? Is there a direct contact to someone or what? Please

As I said - the fee you were charged is propably just standard
 procedure.
Write them another letter, stating that your cancellation was based on
the fact that they did not keep their end of the bargain, and thus you
refuse to pay this fee of theirs.

As you should NO WAY pay the 500 kr. as it is NOT delivered
as expected/promised, remember to have copy of your letter and
you should also pay, I think 4.25 more to have a paper from postoffice
saying which day your letter is sent etc. (as you normally have for parcels)
if you do not send the letter as registrered mail.

And if they don't accept that you shouldn't
pay, you send a complain to:

 Teleankenævnet
 Nørre Voldgade 48, st.
 1358 København K
 Tlf.: 33 18 69 00
 Telefontid mandag-fredag kl. 10-15
 E-mail: Teleanke@teleanke.dk

 I send a complain august 26. to Tele2
and they didn't answer yet, but i think
they are months behind with almost
 anything in that lousy company.

Welcome in the boat, we are many, so
 don't give up :)

 | | Thanks all for your collective help. I was fortunate to have the
letter copied and stamped as received by the own office (I hand
delivered the letter to the office on Gammel Kongs Vej in Valby) and
have kept all the correspondence and emails, include in some cases
those names of personal that I talked to. The bill is due the first of
Oct. Do I pay it then complain or ignore it and complain?
 Thanks in advance,
 Bobsen

 Return it with your complain.
