Hey er der nogle der gider at rette den her for grammatik, stavefejl og lidt kommaer og punktummer... Det er ikke lige min stærke side hehe....

Written assignment

1.   Write a review of Nick Love’s film The Football Factory and discuss the phenomenon of hooliganism. Of course, you are free to include references John King’s novel as well.

The Football Factory is about a group of Chelsea’s hooligans which love to fight against other groups of hooligans, and use football as their excuse for fighting. The movie focuses on the group's attitudes to each other, and the relationship between the leaders in the group, and the younger members. The movie describes how the groups plan the fights, and how they avoid the police.

The main character and narrator in the movie; Tommy Johnson, is a member of Chelsea’s hooligans. Tommy Johnson lives a boring life, and he is only looking forward to the weekends, where he beats up other groups of hooligans, having sex, and drinking beers. He spends a lot of time with his best friend Rod, who has the same background as Tommy. They spend a lot a time on this special bar where they meet they other Chelsea hooligans, drinking beers and doing drugs, before they are going to fight other hooligans from other teams.

They movie has a lot of funny and unpleasant characters, for example the maniac Billy Bright, who are a psychopath who just love to fight, many of the guys in the group are fearing him, but he is not the leader of Chelsea´s hooligans because his causes to many problems with the police. Billy did also make a fortune of selling drugs, and he owns a flower store.
During the movie Tommy begin to get some nightmares where he gets beated up and he really fears for his future and, thinks about stop fighting any more.

Tommy’s only family is his old granddad Bill Farrel, who is an old Second World War veteran who planning to immigrate to Australia with his friend Albert Moss, but Albert dies, and suddently he is all alone, and his considering to invite Tommy with him to Australia.

In the movie Rod meet the lady of his dreams, a secretary of court, and he get to choose between the

Group and what it implies, and the girl, but the pressure gets to big, and of course he chooses the group.

Tommy and Rod gets in to trouble with Fred who is the leader of Millwall(which is a big football club in UK), because Tommy “almost” having sex with the leaders´ sister, and afterward beat up Fred´s brother.

The movie ends up in a big fight between Millwall and Chelsea’s hooligans and Tommy’s nightmare comes true. He getting beat up by Millwall, and wake up on the hospital some days afterward, but still he has no regrets.

The movie makes a clear image of hooliganism, and has some fun moments, it’s very violent and do not conceal anything. I will definitely recommend it if you are looking for an exciting and entertaining film.

I think that hooliganism is a strange phenomenon; I don’t understand why they want to fight to show that their “football club” is the best, it doesn’t make any sense to me. It’s not even because they really love their team, they just want to fight they doesn’t care about the game, and I think that is sad. I think football should be about watching the game and have a great time with his other.
Then I better like the Danish “roligans” better, they just want to watch some football, and sing their songs, shout at they other fans, but in a not violent way.

Unfortunately hooliganism has become more popular in UK, and all the football clubs have their own group of hooligans. Unfortunately it has also become popular in Denmark where it’s common for clubs to have their own hooligans, for example the Danish football club AGF´s White Pride, which also bring in racism to the sport, which are beneath contempt.

I think the worst part of hooliganism is when innocent suffers. For example: when the 2 biggest football clubs in Denmark, Brøndby and FCK, play against his other, it causes a lot of problems.
Once I went to a game between BIF and FCK, and things got out of control, I saw a man got kicked in his belly, just because he had a FCK-shirt on, I think that is insane.
I hate that I have to be afraid every time I go to a match, and I think it’s destroying Danish football completely.

If they like fighting that much, I think it’s okay if they gather, and find a place to fight, as long as no innocent gets hurt. And no one gets serious injuries which of cause is almost impossible.

The Football Factory is about a group of Chelsea’s hooligans who love to fight against other groups of hooligans and to use football as their excuse for fighting. The movie focuses on the groups' attitudes towards each other and the relationship between the leaders of the group and the younger members of ot. The movie describes how the groups plan the fights and how they avoid the police.

The main character and narrator of the movie, Tommy Johnson, is a member of Chelsea’s hooligans. Tommy Johnson lives a boring life, and he is only looking forward to the weekends, where he beats up other groups of hooligans, have sex and drink beers. He spends a lot of time with his best friend Rod who has the same background as Tommy. They spend a lot a time on a special bar where they meet up with the other Chelsea hooligans drinking beers and doing drugs before they go to fight other hooligans who support other teams.

They movie has a lot of funny and unpleasant characters, for example the maniac Billy Bright, who is a psychopath who only loves to fight. Many of the guys in the group are fearing him, but he is not the leader of Chelsea's hooligans since he causes too many problems with the police. Billy has made a fortune by selling drugs, and he owns a flower store.

During the movie Tommy begins to get some nightmares where he gets beat up, and he really fears for his future and begins to think about not fighting anymore.

Tommy’s only family is his old granddad, Bill Farrel, who is an old Second World War veteran. He is planning to emigrate to Australia with his friend Albert Moss. But Albert dies, and suddently he is all alone, and he's considering to invite Tommy with him to Australia.

In the movie Rod meets the lady of his dreams, a secretary of court, and he gets to choose between the group with what it implies and the girl, but the pressure gets to big, and of course he chooses the group.

Tommy and Rod get in to trouble with Fred who is the leader of Millwall (which is a big football club in the UK) because Tommy “almost” has sex with the leader's sister and afterward beats up Fred's brother.

The movie ends up in a big fight between Millwall's and Chelsea’s hooligans, and Tommy’s nightmare comes true. He gets beat up by the Millwall supporters and wake up at the hospital some days later, but still he has no regrets.

The movie makes a clear image of hooliganism, but has some funny moments. It’s very violent and does not conceal anything. I will definitely recommend it if you are looking for an exciting and entertaining film.

I think that hooliganism is a strange phenomenon. I don’t understand why football supporters want to fight to show that their “football club” is the best. It doesn’t make any sense to me. It’s not even because they really love their team. They just want to fight and they do not care about the game. I think that is sad. I prefer the Danish “roligans”. They just want to watch some football, sing their songs and shout at the other fans, but in a not violent way.

Hooliganism has become increaslingly popular in UK, and now all the football clubs have their own group of hooligans. Unfortunately it has also become popular in Denmark where it’s common for clubs to have their own hooligans, for example the Danish football club AGF's White Pride, which also brings racism to the sport, which is beneath contempt.

I think the worst part of hooliganism is when innocent people suffer. For example: when the two biggest football clubs in Denmark, Brøndby IF and FCK, play against each other, it causes a lot of problems. I hate that I have to be afraid every time I go to watch a match, and I think that hooliganism is destroying Danish football completely.

If people like fighting that much, I think it’s okay if they gather to fight each other, as long as no innocent people gets hurt and no one gets serious injuries, which of course is almost impossible.

De store problemer i denne opgave er

1. manglende kongruens (er grundleddet i ental, skal udsagnsleddet være i ental - er grundleddet i flertal, skal udsagnsleddet være i flertal). Eksempel:
Citat
Rod meet the lady
skal være "Rod meets the lady".

2. forkert brug af -ing formen. Eksempel:
Citat
he beats up other groups of hooligans, having sex, and drinking beers
skal være "he beats up other groups of hooligans, has sex and drinks beers".

3. deciderede stave-/skrive-/slåfejl (kært barn har mange navne). Eksempel:
Citat
meet they other Chelsea hooligans
skal være "meet the other Chelsea hooligans".
