Hvordan kan jeg lave mit eget com object i VB, som udnytter ms winsocket? Jeg kan ikke få lov til at oprette MS Winsocket "on the fly", for det er en visual component, hvordan kan jeg så lave et ikke visual com object som bruger TCP/IP?

Der er flere filer der kan hentes her som skulle kunne afhjælpe problemet eller giver mere viden. (Har ikke selv testet dem)

point -> who care's. Jeg lærer noget af det, da jeg prøver at løse problemstillinger i alle typer emner. Det er drivkraften, og ikke point. Jeg har over 10.000 point på eksperten (andet navn), og tror du jeg spilder min tid på at skaffe point ??? Det er viden jeg interessere mig for. Hvis brugerne ikke er tilfreds med svarene kan de jo bare afvise. Kan ikke se jeg gør noget forkert ???

Når du bruger winsocket skal du huske at linke til .lib ellers funker det ikke. Måske er det problemet ?

Ja det er et kanon sted for VB, men jeg kunne desværre ikke bruge det for i deres eksempel bruger de MS WinSocket visual komponent, og det er skam ikke noget problem. Jeg skal bruge WinSocket uden at have en form.

Den er tricky. Jeg har en pal der er genius til VB. Jeg hører ham ad i løbet af dagen via mail, måske ved han noget. Er der noget du kan forklare nærmere vedr. dit problem, så skriv det i indlægget :)

Ja, det eneste jeg skal er at kunne bruge winsocket uden at have en form. Jeg skal altså kunne create ms winsocket direkte "on the fly" fra mit com object, og samtidig kunne bruge dens events o.lign.

Fylder det meget? Ellers kan du vel bare paste det ind i et indlæg her. For så ved jeg altid hvor jeg kan finde det igen hvis jeg skulle få brug for det.
