Run the Internet Connection Wizard:
- Click on Start-Settings-Control Panel.
- Open Internet Options.
- Select the Connection tab.
- Click on the Setup button.
- This runs the ICW, which will ask you a few questions. Use these answers:
- I want to set my internet connection manually.
I connect through a local area network.
- Under “Local Area Network” Configuration, make sure all boxes are unchecked.
- Choose “No” when asked if you want to set up an internet mail account.
- Uncheck the “Connect to the Internet immediately” box.
- Then click Finish. Do this for each system on your LAN.
Next, manually add an internal IP address for each system on your LAN:
- Click on Start-Settings-Control Panel.
- Open Network.
- Select the “TCP/IP” Protocol for your network interface card. Click the Properties button.
- Select the IP Address tab.
- Select “Specify an IP address”.
- Enter 255.255.255.0 for the subnet mask.
- Enter 192.168.0.x for the IP address, where ‘x' is a numerical digit (use ‘1' for the first computer, ‘2' for the next, etc).
- Click the OK button.
- Click the next OK button.
- Reboot each system, then try the open TCP/IP game.
Normalt vil den første startede inde i spillets opsætning, måske er det en indstilling der hedder LAN, her skal han være vært(Host), derefter skal den anden gå samme sted hen på sin computer og være Client
Men værten skal først vælge spillet og sværhedsgraden
