Hard Drives, HUGE ONES!!

AtlantaOC has just completed the Maxtor DX540 Hard drive review and it looks
pretty good.

We are comparing a raid-0 of 2 Maxtor DX540 80gig 5400's to a raid-0 of 2
Maxtor DMP45 46gig 7200's

One thing we found when comparing the 80gigs to the quicker 46gigs was that
even though the 46's read ALOT quicker, the 80's have a higher bust write!

The DSP in the 46's show pretty good use in real life tests, letting the
drives have a higher sustained reads and writes then the 80's without the
DSP.
